•Perform In-Process Shop Shop Inspections, Audits, In-Process Dimensional Inspection, Visual Inspection, Monitoring of Supplier Testing, Coating Inspection, Final Visual Inspection, Final Dimensional Inspections, and Review Supplier Final Data Book Documents.
•Perform Inspections on defined Witness, Hold, Review and Inspection Points as listed in Assignment Instructions and Inspection and Test Plan.
Coordination of Supplier Inspections
•Provide SQS & Inspection Estimates by Project and/or Purchase Order
•Coordinate Inspection Functions with Engineering, Client, Procurement, and Supplier Shop Inspectors
•Develop Inspection and Test Plans
•Coordinate and Assign Qualified Shop Inspectors
•Technical Support for Supplier Quality and Inspection to Engineering, Suppliers, Clients, and Inspectors
•Define Inspection Scope for Projects and/or Purchase Orders
•Assign or Recommend Inspection Levels for Equipment, Material, Parts, etc.
•Develop Assignment Instructions for Shop Inspectors to obtain Project Requirements and expectations
Supplier Surveillance and Inspection
•Document Review- Review of Supplier Documents at Sigma Office Only
•Final Inspection-Final Inspection of the Completed Equipment, Item, Material. Final Visual, Dimensional, and Document Review Prior to Shipment.
•Defined Inspection- Inspections performed only as defined in the Inspection and Test Plan or Assignment Instructions including Final Inspection.
•In-Process Inspection- Inspections performed in-process at a frequency pre-defined and all inspection points defined in Inspection and Test Plan including Final Inspection.
•Resident Inspection-1 or more full time inspectors performing in-process inspections, Defined Inspections, Inspections per Inspection Test Plan, Assignment Instructions, and Final Inspections.
