Galentines Luncheon

Sigma’s Annual Galentine’s Event was a huge success once again this year! With so many new ladies joining Sigma, we loved the opportunity to connect across different departments. During the luncheon, each lady brought a Galentine’s gift and placed it on the table. When a gift was picked, the recipient introduced themselves to the group and then chose a new gift. The employee who had given that gift would then introduce themselves. This fun and engaging event was a great way to bond with colleagues, all while enjoying a themed lunch in honor of Valentine’s Day. We’re excited to continue hosting activities like this that strengthen our company culture and bring everyone together.

Halloween

Halloween 2024 was Spooky! We had a great time dressing up and having a BOOFET! Our Sigma Participation and group themes were hilarious and out of the box! Everyone was in the spirit and enjoying getting to dress up for the day! We all had a great celebration and some really good treats!

Congratulations to the Document Control Group who won the Costume Contest-Donna and Ashley both dressed up as their department head, Kristin! This was truly exciting because Kristin has never dressed up before and technically she still didn’t but they found a loop hole! Runner up was Hadley and Charles who dressed up as a groom and little Debby respectfully!

Congratulations to Camilla for winning the Pumpkin Carving/Decorating Contest! Truly Spooky and creative!

Sigma Poker Night

Our PR and BD teams are getting creative and this typically means a hugely successful event! Sigma hosted a Poker night for the first night as our Happy Hour event for October! We had all the decor, decks and dealers present and ready! This event was amazing and we hope to plan an event with our clients very soon!

Professional Engineering Day

Celebrating Our Professional Engineers! Sigma has over 20 Professional Engineers who have earned their licenses in Louisiana. The path to becoming a licensed PE starts with the FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) Exam, followed by two years of work experience within the engineering industry, and culminates in passing the PE Exam to obtain the certification. This is the highest level of certification within the engineering field, allowing Professional Engineers to stamp packages and approve drawings, ensuring that all contents are structurally, mechanically, and operationally sound.
